Restaurant Junk Removal in Tulsa

JunkLimo clears restaurants across Tulsa, Oklahoma — closures, remodels, kitchen equipment and dining furniture in volume. Work is normally scheduled before opening, and rear-alley access in Blue Dome, downtown, Cherry Street and Brookside is the usual condition rather than an obstacle. Fryers must be drained first, and refrigerant is recovered by a certified technician before any cooling equipment is disposed of.

  • Worked between services or before you open
  • Narrow rear entries and alleys are normal here
  • Grease-contaminated equipment handled

How much does restaurant junk removal cost in Tulsa?

Single pieces are $149 to $249. A dining room refresh is normally $339. A full closure runs to several full trailers at $425 each.

What each load size means for this job

  • ¼ trailer — $149A reach-in, a prep table, or a stack of chairs
  • ½ trailer — $249A bar area, or a partial dining room refresh
  • ¾ trailer — $339A full dining room of tables, chairs and booths
  • Full trailer — $425One load of a full kitchen and dining room closure

What changes the price

Rear access
A narrow alley or a service door onto a walkway means a carry from wherever the trailer can legally sit. Changes the clock, not the price.
Refrigeration
Refrigerant must be recovered by a certified technician before disposal. Walk-ins and reach-ins both.
Booth seating
Bulky, heavy and awkward through a service door. A dining room of booths is more volume than the same seat count in chairs.
Early-morning scheduling
Normal for this work. It sets when the crew arrives rather than what the volume costs.
Disconnection status
Gas and hardwired electrical need a licensed trade first. Equipment still connected does not move.

When does the work actually happen?

Before you open, on a window agreed at booking. A lunch-to-dinner gap is enough for a few pieces and nowhere near enough for a kitchen.

The parts that have to line up with that window are access, alarm codes and who is on site to open the service door. A crew arriving at 6am to a locked rear entry has lost the morning, and that is the single most common way an early job fails.

For a closure with a landlord handover date, say the date at booking. The schedule gets built against it rather than estimated around it, which matters because a restaurant handover usually has a deposit attached.

How does the alley access work?

It is planned before the trailer arrives, and in older Tulsa buildings it is the deciding factor on how long a job takes.

Blue Dome, downtown, Cherry Street and Brookside restaurants frequently have a narrow rear entry, a shared alley, or a service door opening onto a walkway rather than a dock. Some of those alleys will not take a trailer at all, which means a carry from wherever it can legally sit.

None of that is unusual and none of it changes the price, since pricing is volume. It changes the plan. Describing the rear access when booking — or sending a photo of it — is worth more than describing the equipment.

What has to be dealt with before the crew arrives?

Fryers drained, gas and hardwired electrical disconnected by the relevant licensed trade, and water lines shut off at the valve.

Used cooking oil goes through a rendering or grease collection service rather than onto a trailer. Once drained, the fryer itself comes out normally — grease-contaminated equipment is routine work here and not a reason for refusal.

Gas connections and hardwired electrical need a licensed plumber or electrician. That limit is not negotiable and it applies equally to a residential range. The full breakdown of what comes out of a commercial kitchen and how is on commercial appliance removal, including how a walk-in is taken apart.

What happens with a full closure?

Everything goes: kitchen, dining room, bar, dry storage and décor. It is normally a one to two day schedule once access is sorted.

Dining furniture is the volume that surprises people. Fifty chairs, twenty tables and a run of booth seating is a full trailer before the kitchen has been touched. Booths in particular are bulky, heavy and awkward to get through a service door.

Where a closure is driven by a health department timeline or a lease-end, that date is what the schedule is built against. Restaurants inside a larger building or a shopping centre often have landlord requirements as well, which overlaps with retail store junk removal and, for the landlord side, property management cleanouts.

Tulsa specifics

What can a restaurant put in its own dumpster?

Far less than most operators assume, and the gap is what fills the enclosure. A restaurant’s waste contract covers routine refuse, not a kitchen’s worth of equipment, and haulers refuse the categories that matter here.

The municipal options are closed to you outright. The City of Tulsa bulky waste programme is a residential service for City utility customers, scheduled against a household refuse day with a utility Customer ID and Account number, and capped at 8 cubic yards per pickup. The City’s Household Pollutant Collection Facility at 4502 S. Galveston Ave explicitly refuses commercially generated waste.

The M.e.t. charges for large appliances, air conditioners and anything over 50 lbs, which describes most of a commercial kitchen. Its free e-waste list covers the small things — a point-of-sale terminal, a printer, a tower — at Broken Arrow, Central Tulsa, Claremore, Downtown Tulsa, Glenpool and Sand Springs.

So the working routes are a scrap recycler for the stainless, a rendering service for the oil, an EPA-certified technician for refrigerant, and Tulsa Recycle & Transfer at 1150 N. Peoria Ave — a state-licensed transfer station open to commercial haulers — for the rest. If the problem is that equipment keeps appearing beside a full enclosure, that is dumpster overflow cleanup.

Side by side

Using your own dumpster versus a clearance crew

A restaurant’s existing waste service compared with a junk removal crew for a closure or remodel, across what is accepted, labour, refrigerant and timing.

Your waste contract is the right and cheapest answer for everything it actually covers, and nothing here changes that. This is for the categories it refuses — equipment, fixtures, furniture in volume and anything with refrigerant in it.

Questions about restaurant junk removal

Answered before you call.

Yes, though before opening is more common. A lunch-to-dinner gap is workable for a few pieces but not for a kitchen, so full clears are usually scheduled early. Our published hours are Mon–Sat 7am–7pm and Sun 12–7pm, and anything outside them is agreed case by case. Access, alarm codes and who is on site are settled at booking, because a crew arriving at a locked service door has wasted the morning.

Where we do it

Restaurant Junk Removal across the Tulsa metro.

Same price everywhere. No travel fee.

Restaurant work concentrates in the districts: Blue Dome, downtown, the Pearl District, Cherry Street, Brookside and the Utica Square area. Those are also where the rear access is narrowest and where early scheduling matters most.

The suburban side — Broken Arrow, Owasso, Bixby, Jenks and the Union area — is generally easier, with parking lots and rear service bays instead of alleys. Brookside sits between the two. Pricing is identical and there is no travel fee.
